CCB recently won the title of “Best Organization for Loving Children” granted by CCTF. The 5 employees including ZHAO Jianhong from the Chengjian Sub-branch, Beijing Branch won the title of “Best Love Ambassadors”.

Since 2002 when CCB accepted the entrustment by CCTF, It has appropriated funds to make 5000 “Love Donation Boxes” and put them in 5000 CCB outlets with good conditions in the large and medium-sized cities for the funds-raising activity of “Small Change Charity” launched by CCTF. These funds will be used to develop our education and welfare undertakings for children and teenagers, especially for those children and teenagers living in the poor regions and minority areas.

In the past five years CCB units at all levels have been mobilizing and encouraging their staffs to take part in the “Small Change Charity” activity. Besides doing their duties well, many staffs have become the warm and voluntary promoters of “Small Change Charity” activity, which have greatly arouses many clients’ attention and promotes their participation in this public welfare work.

In order to guarantee the safety and accurate transfer of the funds, the staffs at CCB outlets earnestly check the amount of each donation box and make sure the safety and timely transfer of the funds. In the past five years, these 5000 CCB outlets mentioned above have raised an accumulative total of RMB3,270,000 for CCTF.

Based on CCB’s prominent contribution to the “Small Change Charity” activity, CCTF awarded CCB the glorious title of “Best Organization for Loving Children” in January 2007. The five CCB outlets that won this title included the personal financial department of Shanghai branch, Tanggu branch of Tianjin, Shandong Agricultural University Sub-branch of Tai’an, Shandong, Xiangfan branch of Hubei. The five employees who won the glorious title of “Best Love Ambassador” included ZHAO Jianhong from the Chengjian sub-branch of Beijing branch and other 4 employees. 152 CCB branches and 161 employees separately won the glorious titles as “Excellent Organizations for Loving Children”, “Organizations for Loving Children”, “Excellent Ambassadors for Loving Children” and “Love Ambassadors”.

Another 9 domestic organizations also won this title. In order to commend those organizations and employees, strengthen people’s social morality, enhance their conscience and sense of social responsibility sense, and waken the passion of the entire society to pay attention to and help the vulnerable groups, CCTF will engrave the names of awarded organizations and employees on the “Merits and Virtues Stele of China Children Charity” located in the Great Wall of Badaling Ridge, Beijing and print their names on the “Honor Roll”. This is the second time for CCB to win this honor since “Public Welfare Unit of Love” in 2005.

The spokesperson of CCB expressed that the education and welfare work for the juvenile is an important and long-term program, which requires not only the guidance from the government and public welfare organizations, but also the love and efforts by organizations and peoples from all circles. CCB won the title of “Best Organization for Loving Children” this time is not only an honor but also a stimulation for CCB. CCB will perform its social responsibility more actively and utilize its advantages to further pay attention to and take part in the education and welfare work for the juveniles and make more contributions for the healthy growth of the juvenile.
