Recently, China Construction Bank (CCB) successfully completed its election of CCB Top 10 Outstanding Persons for 2006. They are: President of CCB Haierlu Sub-branch of Qingdao Branch Sun Jianbo, Vice President of CCB Xiamen Branch Lin Shunhui, President of CCB Nanda Sub-branch of Chenshou Branch Zhou Feng, President of CCB Jinmao Sub-branch of Shanghai Branch Li Dong, President Assistant of CCB Sanya Branch Zhu Jun, Account Manager of CCB Wealth Management Center of Beijing Branch Wang Rucheng, Account Teller of CCB Jinan Sub-branch of Shangdong Branch He Xiao, President Assistant of CCB Lecong Sub-branch of Fushan Branch Liu Lairong, Senior Manager of 95533 Call Center of CCB head office Ji Chaohui, Vice Senior Manager of CCB Shanghai Audit Department Lu Yifeng. And 29 excellent persons including General Manager of Corporate Banking Department of CCB Helongjiang Branch Li Song were nominated for this election. It is said that Top 10 Outstanding Persons were elected from 39 candidates nominated by all branches of CCB through the following strict and standard process: evaluating, publishing story over CCB Daily and CCB website, voting, and personal review by CCB head office. 3,528 departments and 136,836 young employees through the whole bank participated this election, and 148,215 employees directly voted online representing 44.46% of CCB’s all staff. 20% of the Top 10 are excellent manager, eminent account manager, prominent teller and expert in business or technology, with the position of vice president of branch, president of sub-branch, manager of department, and account manager of wealth management center; and 60% of them are from sub-branches. This kind of election covers all parts of representative staff working in all lines of business and reflects the principle of choosing representatives from the first line of working. They create their own style of working and become good models for other staff through their quality service to build up service brand in finance. Some of them engage in marketing and promotion and become Associate Financial Planner and signed consultant with magazine of Wealth Management Times thanks to their expertise. Some of them are involved in management and administration and make big contributions to CCB’s performance through innovation and operation. All of them, representing excellent staff of CCB, substantially contribute to CCB’s development and reform in their own positions. We can see the new image of CCB after its listing from these persons hard working. It is introduced that CCB has conducted this election every year since 2001 and already established this efficient way of encouraging staff to work hard and win Top 10 award. This year’s election added a new way of election such as online voting in real name and group voting to reach the goal of justice and standardization. By means of this kind of activity, staff’s working enthusiasm has been inspired effectively and the atmosphere of hard working and making bigger contributions to CCB has been established. |
