Grand Launch of CCB’s New-Version Online-Bank for Individual Customers

Following the “customer-centric” business philosophy and the development strategy of building “a domestically and internationally leading” e-bank, China Construction Bank (CCB), on the occasion of the first anniversary of its IPO, formally launched the new version of online banking services for individual customers at 0:00 October 28, 2006.

 

Designed to present an easier-to-use, more convenient and safer online bank to customers, the new version of CCB online bank upgrades the old system, reshapes the functional menu, page style, operational method, application procedure and routine services. In particular, based on the original online bank security tools, the new version strengthens protection of customer privacy and safety by adopting such measures as short message notice.

 

The new version of CCB online bank provides customers with a fashionable and simple page style to improve the convenience for customers. The operational area offers guide to customers, sets the quick functional area and provides operational help to make the operation easier. During operation the system uses different colors indicating the current state and operational point. A quick interface to related transactions on the right side of the page is offered to customers to raise efficiency.

 

The new version of online bank not only simplifies the application procedure but also optimizes the five basic individual financial services, i.e. enquiry, transfer, remittance, agent bill payment and other payments. Highlighting the idea of “making enquiry everywhere”, the version allows enquiry for all transactions, supports the transfer of individual funds to other private or corporate accounts of other domestic financial institutions and offers the reserve transfer service under which the online bank makes automatic transfer at a time reserved by the customers.

 

In addition, the new version of online bank also provides five forms of help for customers including “online services”, “online demo”, “FAQs”, “operational guide” and “real time operational guide information”. It also initiates the transaction information recording service. When customers exit from the online bank, such service offers all the record of your latest online transaction, making customers well-informed of the transactions.

 

The new version of online bank adds new security tools such as password component, safety component, reserved counter-forgery information verification, suspension of online banking service, account protection and short message notice to the original double password protection, electronic certificates, USBKEY and dynamic password card.
