The CCB headquarters recently released the Notice on Launching the Election and Promotion Campaign of “Experiencing Sincerity and Encouraging Enthusiasm – CCB Persons of the Year for 2006”, kicking off the election of excellent CCB staffs of the year and the promotion of CCB culture in a bid to implementing its strategic vision throughout the bank and displaying its new image of after IPO.

 

It is said that the campaign will elect 10 individuals for the year who have outstanding performances in terms of services and innovation during their daily work. The 10 individuals will be elected mainly from the grassroots managerial and business staffs, especially those ordinary staffs such as the heads of grassroots branches, counter staffs, customer managers and R&D staffs who faithfully fulfill the “customer-centric” philosophy and have made excellent deeds of services and products innovating, providing sincere services and working diligently. The purpose of the campaign is to fully show the brand value of CCB, display the characteristics of its staffs, encouraging their enthusiasm and promoting the bank’s brand, culture and image.

 

The campaign is an election of excellent staffs, a demonstration of the charm of CCB employees as well as a marketing event of CCB’s culture. The election is divided into the following stages: recommending candidates, online voting, penal review and awarding ceremony, with focus on internal and external marketing activities and extensive participation at each stage. For instance, at the stage of recommending candidates, a bottom-up method will be adopted, and at the same time customers and staffs are also encouraged to make recommendations. The nomination made by the employers should have the extensive involvement of employees and customers as well as the local working style assessment, model unit evaluation and publicity authorities. At the online voting stage, vote will be invited at the CCB intranet and the internet, and various channels including the bank’s website, 95533, mobile phone short message, bank statement, poster and portal will be used to attract the attention of employees, customers and the public to the voting. The bank will especially issue the best organizational award, the best insight award for customers and the best insight award for employees to encourage wide participation.

                       

The awarding ceremony will be held in the fourth quarter of this year and covered by the media. By then, the officials of the headquarters, the families and the employers of the 10 persons of the year and representatives of customers will be invited to the ceremony.
