CCB to Issue Money Market Fund for CCB Principal as the Agent Bank

CCB will issue money market fund for CCB Principal as the agent bank from April 4 to April 20, 2006.

The investment goal of CCB Principal money market fund is to “gain a yield bigger than the benchmark on the precondition of maintaining the sound liquidity of the principal”. The product has the following characteristics: first, safety of principal and lower risks. The fund will be mainly invested in money market instruments with high security and liquidity and will enjoy a yield rate bigger than demand deposit rate; second, low investment cost and great convenience. The fund will require no application, subscription or redemption fee and it can be paid in an efficient manner. Investors generally can use the fund from T+2; third, income tax exemption. The fund yield will be allocated daily and fund shares carried over on a monthly basis, and the income tax of fund dividend for individuals and companies can be exempted in line with competent rules.
