CCB and SDIC Signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement

November 29, 2004 - the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB) and the State Development & Investment Corporation (SDIC) was held in Jianyin Building. Chang Zhenming, President of CCB, Luo Zhefu, Deputy President of CCB, Wang Huisheng, President of SDIC, and Zhang Hua, Chief Accounting Officer of SDIC, attended this ceremony.
SDIC, established by the approval of the State Council, is a state-owned holding company and administrated by the central government directly. Since the establishment, SDIC has played an important role in the national economic development and progressively improved its comprehensive strength and operation management. It has been SDIC’s prime tasks to invest in basic and pillar industries and high-tech projects with holding and controlling interests. Industrial input gives priority to electrical power, coal, ports and other basic or resource-oriented fields. And now SDIC is entering an important development stage.
CCB and SDIC have enjoyed a long-term cooperation relationship. And the signing of strategic cooperation agreement indicated that CCB and SDIC will establish a long-term strategic cooperation relationship and become the VIP customer for each other. And both sides will provide quality products and efficient services and strengthen cooperation relations over project construction and development of new financial products in line with principles of mutual benefits and taking advantages from each other strong points.
The strategic cooperation agreement signed by CCB and SDIC signifies that the cooperation between the two sides has entered a new phase.
