Zhang Enzhao Awarded the Most Farsighted Informatization Leader and Luo Zhefu Granted the Outstanding Informatization Head

On January 15, 2005, China’s Best 500 Enterprises for Informatization conducted by National Informatization Evaluation Center and China Internet Weekly were announced. China Construction Bank (CCB) was awarded number 5 among Best Enterprises, ranked the number one among banks in this award. Chairman of CCB Board Zhang Enzhao was awarded the most farsighted informatization leader. Vice President of CCB Luo Zhefu was granted the outstanding informatization head. CCB data integration project won the important informatization prize. CCB Shanxi Branch was granted the best IT management award. And CCB also won a prize for its informatization strategy.

China’s Best 500 Enterprises for Informatization evaluation and selection campaign is a new campaign initiated by CECA National Informatization Evaluation Center. This campaign drew upon China’s Enterprises Informatization Quotient, referred to international practice, and used quantitative assessment with qualitative evaluation as the reference indicator.

China’s Best 500 Enterprises for Informatization award is a kind of encouragement and recognition for CCB’s long-term efforts in informatization work. This award can not only improve CCB’s brand image, but also help CCB disclose its information and conduct the shareholding reform.
