Announcement of the Launching of e-Trade SMS and Mailing Services

Published time:2007-12-17

The SMS and e-mail notification function of CCB’s internet trade settlement system (e-Trade) was launched for services on December 7th 2007.

The e-Trade SMS and e-mail notification function is a service providing immediate notification on international settlement operations for import-export enterprises.  In this function, both Chinese and English are supported.  Upon completion of an international settlement operation by CCB, this notification function will automatically send details of the operation to the client concerned via mobile phone and mailbox, allowing immediate grasp of the operation situation by the client.  The mobile phone number and the e-mail address for notification are set by the person-in-charge of an enterprise.  He/she can set specific ways of notification to himself/herself or to other colleagues according to the type of operation involved.  The main types of operations for notification include export L/Cs; foreign currency receipts in export L/Cs; collection, opening, amendment and document receipt of import L/Cs; as well as acceptance and payment of import L/Cs and import collections.

The SMS and e-mail notification function is instrumental in bringing the services of a bank directly to the clients quickly and on time and is an efficient means of communication between the bank and its clients.
